Ownership Stodgell Investment Management (SIM) is a private company, owned by Robert J.C. Stodgell, CFA and Peter Mackenzie, CPA, CA, MBA Key Personnel     Investment Experience Robert J.C. Stodgell, CFA   35 years Peter A. Mackenzie CPA, CA, MBA   30 years Robert Stodgell, prior to starting SIM Ltd. was the Chief Investment Officer of a major Canadian mutual fund family as well as the investment counselor and advisor to an industry pension fund. With over 30 years of experience in both the retail brokerage and managed money sides of the business, he has also been active in industry associations, most notably, as a member and Past President of The Toronto CFA Society (formerly The Toronto Society of Financial Analysts) and a lecturer in Ethics and other topics for their CFA lecture series. Bob has also conducted numerous investment education courses for the Toronto Board of Education Adult Education Programme and appeared regularly on BNN. Peter Mackenzie has a breadth of experience in the investment industry, most recently an officer of a Canadian investment counselor responsible for the development of their private client business. From 1991 until 1998 he was a Vice President and Director of BZW Canada Ltd., the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank plc. From 1985 until 1991 Peter was an executive at CIBC Wood Gundy. He has received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, an MBA from York University and is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants.
